Darkness Revenge

I cannot think of a lewd game that has the potential Darkness Revenge has right now! This is a game that is in early access and quite early access I might add. Even though the game still needs a great deal of work done on it, the potential that is here is truly through the roof and I am anticipating the next big update that this game has. While I am going to be talking about my experience with the game, I do also want to talk about some of the planned features for the game going forward to.

Murder, Revenge, Vampires!

I am a real bloodsucker for a good vampire story… see what I did there? Anyway, Darkness Revenge has such a badass story about it, it is like something out of a movie. We can play as two characters, Jill or Nathan, these are detectives who have been murdered as they are working on a case involving a billionaire. However, a mysterious vampire called Laura brings you back from the dead and now you are out for revenge and to find out who had you killed!

Two Stories, Two Paths

Ok, there are actually going to be way more than two paths in Darkness Revenge, but I do want to touch on the fact that the two story paths that Jill and Nathan have are very different and will give you a unique experience, meaning that this is a game that you want to play through at least twice as each story is different. Not only that, each character’s story will have different paths and different endings too. The final version of this game is going to be stacked with content and I am very excited about that.

Hitting A Wall

While Darkness Revenge is a lewd visual novel that has many choices, the early access that the game is in means that I did hit a few walls. The core gameplay here has you talking to people and putting together a case to find out who had you killed and why. However, you are also a vampire, and with that come vampire powers. These have a limited use and in the current state, there is no way to replenish them and it is a game over if you use them all up. This will be fixed in the final build of the game as they have said if you feed on people, you can get more points so that you can use your vampire powers. What is here is far from complete, but it is a very good indication of where the game is going to go.

Vampire Lust!

Even in the early access state that Darkness Revenge is in, this is a fantastic looking game. There are already a handful of lewd scenes in the game and they are animated and they look great. I wish that there was some voice acting or some sound at least in these XXX sections, but I am sure that will be added as the game progresses through development. The whole game has a dark and gothic look about it, it reminds me of a kind of mesh between the Underworld series and Interview with a Vampire.

Pros:

• I am loving the vampire detective story that is being told
• The character renders are great
• Even in the early access version of the game I played, it is showing a lot of promise
• You can play as two characters, each with a different take on the story

Cons:

• In the early access state, there are many ways to get a premature early game over!
• I am not sure when the next update will be or when the game will be completed
