I went into Gacha Club Studio not expecting a great deal if I a being honest with you, but I ended up pretty hooked on this. You can play this on your phone which is where I played it, but you can also play this on PC from what I understand too. It is a dress up kind of game where you can collect a ton of stuff. I get that games like this are not for everyone, but I have a real collectors mentality so it is not too tough for a game like this to grab my attention that is for sure.
Get The Party Started!
So, what is the point of Gacha Club Studio? I really wish I could tell you that. Even after spending a ton of time with the game, I am not sure what the overall story is here. The basics are that you will be creating your own cool anime style characters here with tons of items that you can use to bring them to life. You can collect and unlock tons of stuff here and that is ultimately what kept me playing. There are 10 main characters in the game, but there are tons of others that you can play around with and create/customize as well.
Once you have created your characters in Gacha Club Studio, you can then take them to the studio and this is where the real fun begins. You can come up with all kinds of crazy scenes to put your custom characters in and right from the start, it was very easy for me to see why so many people end up hooked on this game. From funny scenes, action scenes, sci-fi scenes, you are really only limited by your imagination here! The whole game has a bright, funky, and cool style about it which just oozes fun.
Keeping You Very Busy
One of the most impressive things about Gacha Club Studio is just how stacked with content the game is. You have different game modes to play such as the main story mode and tower mode. You can battle characters, find new materials and resources to enhance your characters and there are mini-games that you can have fun with as well.
I was very impressed with just how much actual gameplay there was here. This is the kind of game you can fire up to play for 5 minutes while you are waiting for your microwave burrito, but then end up playing for a solid hour or so!
I am fully aware that at first glance, Gacha Club Studio looks like a dumb mobile style game that is designed to just screw a buck here and a buck there out of you. However, this has far more substance than you would think and it is packed with fun gameplay and lots of things for you to collect as you progress through the game. I have had a lot of fun with this and think that the whole cool style and fun gameplay really do make you want to collect as many things in the game as possible.
- This game is stacked with characters that you can play around with
- I really like how there are four main game modes to enjoy
- The mini-games can be quite addictive
- If you like collecting things, you will get really hooked on this game
- I have spent many hours with this game and I still have no clue what the hell is going on!
- While it is addictive, I find games like this have a breaking point where you just have enough and stop playing eventually
