Greed of Man

Greed of Man is one of the most infamous games I have ever had to talk about! There are so many videos out there about how this game is a scam and I have to agree with them. Do not “officially” get this game as you are leaving your personal information in a very vulnerable position. However, as well as talking about the actual BS and scam aspect of this game, I did also want to talk about what kind of game this actually is and if it is even any good once you get past the dubious nature of its existence.

TikTok Of Gaming

A huge part of the mess that Greed of Man comes from is due to the fact the game is made by a guy with a big TikTok presence. This is why the game garnered so much attention, considering all that it really is, is an asset flip of a game you may have seen before. The whole thing reeks of insincerity and like it is purely made to try and get money and information out of people. I cannot say for sure this is what the creation of the game was for, but there are certainly others who feel this way.

Log Out, Then Log In

The thing with Greed of Man is that it requires your Steam login information (if you are playing the game on Steam of course) and it has been reported that your information is being collected and more than likely sold. Other people have reported that for such a simple game, it runs their rig super hard, more than likely meaning that it is mining their GPU! There are just so many red flags here that if you did see this on Steam and decide to take a gamble on playing it because it is free, you need to change your Steam login information right away, it is better to be safe than sorry!

Is This Just A Conspiracy Theory?

I love a good conspiracy theory, but there is far too much smoke for there to be no fire with Greed of Man at all. Some tech-minded people have dug deep into this game and pulled out some pretty shocking things. Put it this way, if I were not able to have tried this via a method without having to use my Steam details, no way in hell would I have taken the risk of playing this. This is a game that is created just to get money out of people, but not just via sales, but via insidious means as well and to be honest with you, I cannot stress enough how much you do not want to take that risk.

So, Is The Game Any Good?

Greed of Man is a game where you play as a drug dealer who needs to make his product, sell his product, and become the big time mob guy of the town. It plays pretty rough, it looks pretty rough and it is average at best in pretty much every regard. The game is pretty badly made too, I had frequent crashes (perhaps because I was not playing the “official” version) and sometimes it would even crash on the title screen forcing me to shut down my PC before I could do anything else. I played the game for a little bit, but after what had to have been the 20th crash, I turned it off and I will never play it again.

Cons:

• This game will steal your data
• It will probably mine your GPU
• The game is a scam
• Even without the game being a scam, it actually sucks as a video game!
