Haley's Story

Haley’s Story is one of those games that turned out way better than I thought it would. This is a lewd visual novel with a brother/sister thing going on and that usually is not something I am into. However, I have to say that this game does in fact pull it off far better than most and while it does feel a bit rushed towards the end of the game, I was very entertained and pulled in by the story and actually wanted to see the two main characters be happy.

Living In Sin!

The premise of the story being told in Haley’s Story is that we have twins who have just moved in together as they have started working at the same place. They have a solid relationship and the relationship strengthens as the story progresses. There are a couple of other girls in the game, but the brother/sister relationship is the main focus here. Even if you are usually turned off by the whole incest thing, the story here does have a lot of heart.

Heart Of Darkness

While I say that the story of Haley’s Story has a lot of heart, there is a pretty shocking event that is talked about happening in the past of the Haley. This is not just done for shock value either and I felt it actually added a great deal to the story and made you care about the characters more and want to see them be happy.

Sisters Are Doing It For Themselves!

One thing I am sure that we can all agree on about the game is that Haley’s Story is a gorgeous looking lewd game. Haley herself is very cute, but also sexy at the same time and the other characters in the game all have a realistic and good look about them too. There are some great lewd scenes in the game and the bits of animation that are here are done very well and make the XXX content even more fun.

Finding Your Way

As you have probably already figured out by now, Haley’s Story as it is a lewd visual novel style of game mostly has you reading the story. You get to make various choices as the game progresses and there are different endings that you can obtain depending on what you do. I felt that things moved at a good natural pace, but it may be a tad slow at the start for some folks. I will say that I think the ending does seem a little rushed, but it is not bad or anything like that.

Overall, Haley’s Story is a game that I did not expect a great deal out of, but I ended up having a lot of fun with it. This is going to sound like a strange comparison, but the way I experienced the story made me think of Tell Tales The Walking Dead!

Pros:

• I thought that the storytelling in this game was fantastic
• Haley was a very cute, sexy, and complex character
• The brother/sister dynamic did not gross me out at all
• It has some very good-looking character renders

Cons:

• The story at the start is a bit of a slow burn
• I felt that the ending did come across as a bit rushed
