Hundred Days - Winemaking Simulator

At first, I thought that Hundred Days - Winemaking Simulator would not be a game for me. After all, I am not someone who likes wine, but the more I looked into this game the more it interested me. This is more of a farming-style game and that right there was what got my wheels turning and made me think that all of the games where I had run a farm or looked after a city had prepared me for this.

It Starts With A Plot Of Land

What you need to do in Hundred Days - Winemaking Simulator is build your own winery from scratch and make it big. While you of course want to turn a profit, a huge part of the appeal of this game is also growing your brand into one that is respected all over the world. This allows you to grow and of course, make big stacks of cash!

From The Soil To The Vines

You start off very small in this game as is the case with other “farming” styles of game. You will need to take care of your soil, decide what kind of grapes you want, look after your vines, and so on. You then need to harvest your grapes so that you can make your wine. This sounds like a lot, right? Well, that is just the start of what you will be doing here. The finer the wine you make, the more money you can make and the better your reputation will be.

More Than Just Vines

Hundred Days - Winemaking Simulator shows that there is a lot more that goes into making wine than you probably think. While much of what you will be doing is growing and taking care of your vines. There are many other aspects here that you have to keep an eye on to make sure that you are successful in your wine making endeavors. You have to organize how things are going to work in the actual vineyard. As well as this, you also need to take care of your vines and treat any diseases that may occur. Failure to do this can ruin things! Also, you need to grow the brand and you can do this by various social events to get the word out there about how great your product is. The sales of your wine is also very important as you need to decide on the style of bottles and how you present your product.

That Simple Country Style

When I think of wine making, I think of a laid-back kind of style and that is what the presentation of Hundred Days - Winemaking Simulator is all about. It is very simplistic in its design, but I do like it as I feel it fits the theme of the game very well. The soundtrack is also very laid back too.

Pros:

• The game has a very laidback kind of vibe
• There is a lot that goes into making your wine
• I like the way that you have to grow your brand
• Taking care of your vineyard is very addictive

Cons:

• It may be a tad too slow-paced for some people
• It can be frustrating if your vines get a bad disease
