Jikage Rising

I have to start by saying that Jikage Rising is a game that pretty much demands you have some knowledge about the world of Naruto. A huge part of the appeal of this game is the corruption of the characters from the show and if you have no prior attachment to these characters then you probably will not get much if anything out of this game at all.

Who Cares, I Just Wanna Get Laid

While Jikage Rising is based on Naruto, you are not getting some large story that unfolds and lets you relive classic storylines in a lewd way. Our main character is just wanting to get laid and he gets a new ability that allows him to wipe the minds of the girls and shape them in his own vision.

This may sound like it would be boring, but it actually works. The reason that this does work is that the person who handled all of the writing nailed these characters. Yes, they are doing stuff that clearly would never happen on the show. However, the way that they talk feels as authentic as it could in a game like this.

Like A Ninja

I was very impressed with the visuals of Jikage Rising they managed to capture the look of the show very well and the game is nice and bright. You have a large selection of characters from the show and getting them to dress all slutty is pretty awesome. There is some animation here to which is not superfluid, but it works well enough in my opinion. Of course, if you are into Naruto, you are going to get a real kick out of seeing some of these characters getting it on.

As well as managing to look like the show, they also have a very fitting soundtrack too. They could have used some voice samples from the show, but the music feels like authentic Naruto music which I like.

Welcome To Basic Training

Ok, so I will admit that the gameplay on offer here in Jikage Rising is not exactly going to knock your socks off. However, I had fun with it. You need to train girls, have sex with them and dress them up all slutty. You have mind control powers so you can pretty much do what you want. There is a visual novel aspect to the game where you get to chat with the girls which is fun.

They also included this turn-based battle system in the game which is very, very easy. You just basically click the button over and over and you will win. It is basic stuff, but at the very least it gives you something else to do in the game on your way to banging one of the chicks from the show.

Pros:

• It features some great artwork
• I liked how many characters from the show were here
• The turn-based battles add a bit of variety
• I liked the writing
• It looks and sounds like the show

Cons:

• There is not much to this game at all
• You have to at least like Naruto to get anything out of this
