Nintendo Aug. 26, 2002 -- Mario and the Princess may have thought they were just going on vacation, but there's something sinister going on in the peaceful beachside town that serves as Sunshine's backdrop. Someone disguised as Mario has vandalized the local scenery with dark scribble marks. Accused of the crime, Mario arms himself with a water-pump backpack and sets out to find the real culprit.
