My Wife's a Star

As I write this review, My Wife’s a Star is still being worked on and I hope that they keep it up as there is a great deal of potential with this game. It is a lewd sandbox style of game and one that has a pretty interesting story where we get to play as two characters. I think that with just a bit of tweaking, we could have a lewd game that is really special on our hands here.

The Dream Team

The story of My Wife’s a Star is set in the entertainment industry. We have a couple that are made up of a guy who is a talent agent and his partner who is a sexy celebrity. The story of the game is about them trying to find their way in the world of superstardom, but also trying to keep their relationship going at the same time.

How Will It Go?

Keep in mind that the game is still being worked on so you may have some issues with the story where certain scenes will overlap and cause things to not make sense, that did happen to me on a few occasions. However, I think the reason My Wife’s a Star has this problem is the scale of the story they are trying to tell. You can try and keep this couple in love, stay together and end up married. That is great, however, you can have them both cheat on each other and do whatever it takes to get to the top, you can even make them a kinky open couple if you want. I like the variety of choices here and once the game is all put together, I am sure multiple playthroughs will be well warranted.

Class With Ass!

One thing that I am very impressed with is the presentation of the game. My Wife’s a Star is a really good looking game and I love the main female character, but there are so many great looking characters in this game both male and female! The sex scenes that you get are great and there is a good variety to them and a few kinks that I was not expecting either. I did run into a problem where a sex scene that felt like it had nothing to do with the path, I was on would pop up, but this is down to the way some of the paths are overlapping with this current build of the game.

Get Out Of The Sandbox

Remember at the start of this review how I told you My Wife’s a Star was a sandbox style lewd game? I have to be honest and say that I think this game would be worth a whole extra point if they ditched the sandbox elements and made this a straight up visual novel. While there is not much of a “grind” here, there are many things that you feel like you have to repeat for no reason at all, many of them add nothing to the gameplay at all apart from slowing it down.

Pros:

• I liked both of the main characters
• The Hollywood style setting is pretty cool
• I liked how there were so many directions the story could go in
• Visually, this game is very good

Cons:

• The game needs a lot of work under the hood as there are some pretty big issues
• The way a scene that has nothing to do with the path you are on can pop up can really spoil the story
