If you’ve played other Sackboy adventures such as the free to play, “Run, Sackboy! Run!” You’ll be familiar with these orbs and the world you need to navigate through.

Along the way you’ll also unlock new abilities, which you’ll need to interact with the world. Not only do they help you in defeating Vex, but they can also be used to manipulate the world around you, adding an extra layer of interest to the world.

Tons of playability beyond the main quest

For most games, playability is limited to the main story quest. You might play it again for achievements or to collect items in the game, but Sackboy: A Big Adventure seems to have thought the game through and created generous playability options.

Sackboy can be dressed up in different outfits, and these outfits hilariously show up in cutscenes if you’ve selected them. There’s also a large number of collectables available for those who enjoy gathering items, and mini-quests that challenge your speed and playing skills to the maximum.

So-So storyline

As can be expected from a game aimed at children, the storyline is extremely typical of a standard adventure game. The story is written well enough, but is also the same story that has been told as long as time. Your average bad guy is threatening the world, and the future of the world depends on the main hero to save it. There’s nothing new or surprising in the story, but it really doesn’t have to be for entertaining children and even adults.

Spectacular sound and graphics

One of the best features of the game is the enchanting backgrounds of the game. Every single world is filled with craft supplies that make it look as if someone’s craft room spilled into a new universe. The beautiful details are equal parts charming and beautiful. The sound is also extremely appealing, with popular music being remade to match the world. The voice acting is also extremely well done, helping to elevate the game from just another kid’s game to something for people of all ages.
