Winkeltje The Little Shop is a charming top-down strategy sandbox game in which players manage their own shop in a rural setting. The plot follows the formula of many management simulators—you inherit a farm or store and must turn it into a highly profitable business, even though you have no experience in business. And just to make sure you don’t slack off, you’re saddled with thousands in debt from your ancestors, who left you this lovely inheritance. In short, get ready to work your butt off and sell as many goods as possible to customers by any means necessary. Be prepared to do absolutely everything by hand—there’s no automation in sight in this agrarian world.
