'Wonhon: A Vengeful Spirit' is set in a fictionalized version of 1920s Korea. A murderous militia has destroyed an entire community, burning their village to the ground and killing everyone in it. Though the spirits have other plans for the perpetrators. They revive one of the young innocents with paranormal powers to take revenge on the evil bestowed on them.

It's these powers that the player will harness instead of that typical run-and-gun isometric gameplay. You will have to be stealthy to survive. Maneuver around obstacles and soldiers and taking them out with tactical approaches. Namely, entering their bodies as a ghost to find methods of killing other enemies in the area.

That is your only purpose - and it is mechanically executed very well. The environments look fantastic, adopting a Korean folk art color palette, and diverse enough to capture the emotional storyline. Wonhon: A Vengeful Spirit does indeed play as well as it looks, but it is a game that has arguably been developed for hardcore players. That notion sits around the difficulty curve of Wonhon: A Vengeful Spirit. The game is not easy to play.

There are many aspects to consider in your approaches, including the movement of enemies, specific assets that hinder your tactics, and controlling your character. The chosen progression path for Wonhon: A Vengeful Spirit is that it gets more challenging rather than straightforward, as well. Instead of your character upgrading to tackle foes - they get intelligent and more powerful too. Getting killed will force you to start the level all over again. About the game

Wonhon: A Vengeful Spirit is a tactical action/stealth game. It is a tale of vengeance, paranormal activity, and the price you have to pay in blood for revenge, set in an alternate Korea in the 1920s.

The main character is a Korean girl that's been murdered along with her family during an attack on her village. Jeoseung Saja, the God of Death, gives the girl the ability to become a ghost and possess creatures. Without or normal means of defense, the girl has to take on using stealth and use her spirit abilities to transform into a ghost and use everything at reach to get her revenge.

A lot is going on in Wonhon: A Vengeful Spirit, but some of the key characteristics we have already mentioned. Thanks to the free prologue, we get an introduction to what's going on in the world of Wonhon: A Vengeful Spirit before the events of the main game take place. And there are plenty of other interesting elements in the game.

One of the most interesting things in the game is its similarities to the classic Metal Gear Solid games, in terms of gameplay of course. With the top-down point of view and the fight and stealth mechanics.

Something else important is that you can actually choose how to get your revenge. Even though the girl by herself doesn’t have much in the terms of violent ways to get her revenge. Using her ghost powers you can get a lot of violence done for your way to revenge. But you can also use those same powers to use stealth as you move on getting your revenge.

Wonhon: A Vengeful Spirit is taking an interesting direction, and the newly released free prologue is the perfect way to allow players to have a firsthand taste of what the gameplay is like. In games like this, the gameplay is a really important element, especially since it has such a promising setting and story.
