Papyrus is a mix of adventure 2D platformer and puzzle game set in an ancient Egyptian setting.

Plot

The Egyptian god of evil, Seth, decides that Pharaoh has too much power and honor. He kidnaps his daughter, a princess named Teti, and is ready to trade her for the ruler's crown. But a young boy named Papyrus is ready to come to the aid of his friend, and pass all obstacles on his way to Seth's lair.

Gameplay

The player's task is to help the young man avoid traps, and solve tricky puzzles. Chariot races, mini-games like "grab-hold", boomerang throwing, underwater world exploration and dark tombs, and the battle with numerous monsters await you. Doesn't the main character look a lot like Aladdin from Oriental fairy tales?
