Ciri Trainer

Ok, so before we start talking about Ciri Trainer I have to be honest with you guys. I am not a massive fan of The Witcher, I played a little bit of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and liked it, I watched the Netflix show and thought it was pretty good. That is the extent of my experience with that series. Why is that important? Well, Ciri Trainer here is a lewd game that is set in the world of The Witcher and they mention the games and the books so if you are a hardcore fan, you will probably get a lot more out of this.

Becoming A Witcher

The story of the game is that you are an elite Witcher trainer and you are going to train Ciri. You will teach her all about stuff like fighting, magic all the while trying to restore the land to its former glory. Now, this is a “corruption” style of game so you have a lot of freedom in regards to how you want things to progress.

The story has many different actions that you can take, but there are different endings so the way the game unfolds really depends on how you treat Ciri so there is a lot of replay value here. Especially if you are a fan of The Witcher series as you will probably want to see all of the outcomes.

Wait, What?

As I said I am far from an expert on the world of The Witcher, but the game did leave me rather frustrated. First of all, this game is actually finished so you can play it from start to end. The first couple of chapters are pretty good. As the name Ciri Trainer implies, you are training her and you can do this how you want, you have various choices to make and this will alter things going forward. The grind at first was a bit on the slow side, but I felt like I was making progress.

Then chapter 3 happened and she ends up kidnapped and it was like all of the stuff I did before did not matter! This was rather disappointing and brought the game to a haul for me. I played through it and once it was done, I lost my motivation to go back and do it again.

A Witcher By Any Other Name

I have read some other comments about Ciri Trainer where people complain about the lewd content. I was surprised by this as it was one of the best aspects of the game for me. There are some great sex CGs here and the artwork is great and this is coming from someone who is not a massive fan. There is a good variety of monsters, women, and men for her to have sex with, and I was impressed by it all.

As is the case with any game that is based on an existing property, your enjoyment ultimately boils down to if the game ticks all of those fanboy boxes. Visually even though I have only dabbled in the world of The Witcher I think this game pulls that off.

Pros:

• Ciri is hot, like really hot!
• You have lots of choices to make
• Playing as a creepy teacher is kind of fun
• I thought that it was well written
• The XXX content is fantastic

Cons:

• The game takes a turn that it never recovers from
• You must be into The Witcher to truly appreciate this
