I had a fantastic time playing through My Tuition Academia. I had so much fun with it that I played through it a few times as there are many different routes and endings for you to experience. This is a lewd life sim/sandbox/visual novel style of game and it is one of the better ones that I have played before. I have played a game from this developer before which was also very well made, but with this game, it is like they took what they learned there and got even better.

We All Have To Make A Living

The story of My Tuition Academia is very well done. The game is one that is not taking itself too seriously and there is some fantastic fourth wall breaking here that legit had me laughing out loud. We play as a feisty young girl at this “superhero” academy and she needs to make money and the best way to do this is with her body be it online or actually letting dudes have sex with her for a fair price. It is very lewd, but it is also a lot of fun.

Putting Pen To Paper

I think that the art style here is truly fantastic, if you played the developer's other game Friends With Benefits (I think that is what it was called) you will get a real sense of familiarity here. My Tuition Academia has a hand drawn style to it and the characters do look great. While I am a fan of this art style those of you who like their lewd games to use realistic looking renders may not get into it as much. There is some awesome lewd content here and I was very surprised at just how much there was on offer in all honesty with you. I played through the game a few times and I still did not see all the scenes.

Grind A Little Sugar On Me

That is right, I just did a Def Leopard reference! The gameplay of My Tuition Academia is near perfect. This is a game where you have to build up various stats and make some money and I know for many of you that is going to raise some red flags as you worry about grinding. However, I feel that what is on offer here is just the right amount of grinding. Just when you think it may be getting a tad too much and you have to do the same thing one time too many, you get rewarded with a new scene. It is done very well and I found myself really enjoying what I was experiencing.

There are many other games that have a similar kind of style and gameplay loop like My Tuition Academia does. However, I feel that this is a game where the developer pretty much got everything right. They have not tried to artificially extend the game with brutal grinding that makes you lose interest. Instead, we have a fun, sexy, and well designed game that will make you want to jump straight back into it to see what ending you can get next.

Pros:

I found the whole game to be a great deal of fun
I loved the way it did not take itself too seriously
The main character is a lot of fun
The actual gameplay on offer here is fun and not too grindy

Cons:

I have to say that I think some voice acting would have made this a 10/10!
If the art style does not do anything for you, you may have a harder time getting into it
