CounterSpy

CounterSpy is a stealth-based side-scrolling shooter. The player is required to sneak into enemy bases and steal plans, while avoiding detection by enemy soldiers, turrets and cameras. The action will take place on two fronts now, both the Soviet Union and Capitalist America. Each side has a 'DEFCON' level - the lower it gets, the closer they are to launching a missile at each other. As the DEFCON level decreases, Warning Sirens are triggered (warning the player that they are under attack).

You play as super spy Sam, who sneaks into enemy bases to steal plans and avoid detection by enemy. The player is required to sneak into enemy bases and steal plans. The game consists of two fronts: one that takes place in the United States during the Cold War and one in Russia's Soviet Union.

You will begin the game as a spy working on behalf of a country that you choose. The choice between these two sides is yours once you have chosen which side you want to represent and fight for in this game. Each side has a 'DEFCON' level that increases when Sam is seen or detected by guards on each front. A DEFCON level decrease would lead to nuclear war between Russia and America so you must stay hidden at all times! The DEFCON level is a measure of how close the two sides are to launching a missile at each other. When your DEFCON level reaches 1, it means that one side has launched nuclear weapons. When it reaches 0 on both sides, World War III has started! You must avoid that at all costs. As the DEFCON level decreases, Warning Sirens are triggered (warning the player that they are under attack).

The Fun Isn’t Stealth

CounterSpy is a very fun game. It has great gameplay, with a simple story and good replayability. The graphics and sound are also very well done and the controls work well. If you're looking for an addictive game that will keep you entertained for hours then CounterSpy is definitely worth checking out! The DEFCON mechanics are excellent, and the fact they crossover between levels adds weight to the decision made during earlier levels of the game.

In various instances, players will feel as if they are really super-spies with a license to kill. You can take whatever approach you’d like to complete the levels, and using your silencer to gun down enemies is something that never gets old. This is a fun platformers, that is easy to play, and even easier to enjoy

There is a lot of this game that's fun and challenging. The levels are very well designed. There are lots of hidden objects to find and lots of secrets to discover. The music is great, which adds a lot to the overall experience.
