Dungeon of Revival

I do wish that I could go into more detail about Dungeon of Revival, but this is a game that is all in Japanese, but I was still able to fumble my way around and get an idea of what this lewd action game was all about. I think that there needs to be more games like this in the world of lewd gaming as not enough of them try to be full 3D style action games so I do applaud them for trying something different.

Walk Like An Egyptian

The game takes place in a country that has some real similarities to ancient Egypt which I think is really cool. One of the areas that is guarded by priests has come under attack and you who play as a lowly warrior in training need to go and investigate.

I wish I could go into more detail about the story that Dungeon of Revival is telling, but this is as close to figuring out what is going on as I can make out. I like the idea of the ancient Egyptian setting and there being trouble and all this mythology around it I just wish it had an English translation so I could follow it.

Hitting It From The Back

Visually it would be so easy to instantly dismiss Dungeon of Revival as a game that looks like it should be running on a PlayStation 2 or an original Xbox. However, taking into account that by my understanding this is a very small team, you do have to say that they have done a fantastic job for what I think is a solid first try. The main character that we play as is very appealing, you see her from the back and it always looks like she has her boobs out and that is pretty cool. I cannot think of too many other lewd games that have this kind of setting so the whole Egyptian thing is pretty cool if you ask me and gives the game more of its own identity.

Tomb Or Nude Raider?

You control the main character by using the keys, she moves with the standard WASD format and you can jump, crouch and attach. Even though I could not read the instructions, I was still able to move around and find myself around the game and I thought that there were some good ideas here.

I think if I had to compare the game to something, it would probably be The Scorpion King game that came out on the PS2 and Nintendo Game Cube a while back. It is your typical 3rd person action game and it is rather basic, but I think there is something solid here, if only I could understand what to do.

Pros:

• I really like the design of the main character
• The movement is pretty good
• I like the idea of the game
• Not too many 3D lewd games are out there

Cons:

• You need to understand Japanese to get far in the game
• It looks a bit on the dated side if I am being honest
