In a world crushed by a devastating war, music is all that stands between the mechs and total destruction. Infinite Guitars is a rhythm game where you take on mechs with guitar riffs that will send them packing. You won’t be fighting this battle alone either. You’ll be fighting as a team with 4 characters, JJ, Sam, Kaylee, and Ru. Each character is unique with their own strengths and abilities. You can attack mechs with your own solo guitar music or join one of the others for a duet.

Original Soundtrack

Infinite Guitars is all about music so it would be a little bit weird if they didn’t have an original soundtrack. Who performed the soundtrack isn’t currently known but the music featured in the trailer is upbeat and very enjoyable to listen to. It’s exciting to know that the music you hear will be unique to the game.

Mellow Graphics

The graphics in the game are in a comic book style, with definite Unbeatable vibes. Although the storylines are different, the graphics and musical backdrop are very similar. The game also features some pretty smooth animation, and a neat way of showing which character the mech chooses to attack via a sort of light scan.

A Melting Pot of Games

Infinite Guitars separates itself from other games by the sheer number of different genre games it has. There are RPG elements, rhythm battles, and some anime elements to it. Right now there’s not a lot of information about the story of the game, but it’s clear that it has some.

The trailer shows some generous cutscenes, and also a huge jump in quality during the development process. Each time the developers release a new trailer, the animation, artwork, and gameplay seems to have gotten better and smoother.

Variety in gaming

You won’t be fighting mechs the same way each time. The game shows characters dodging spikes, trying to match the rhythm of other characters in a duet, and also straight up smashing your guitar. This means the game likely won’t feel grindy as you progress through the levels because there is always something different.

The game trailers also hints at some significant cutscenes which help illustrate the story of the game. Although the storyline we know is fairly vague, mechs coming back after destroying the world once, and 4 heroes stopping them with guitars, we can hope the story will be richer from there.

There’s not a lot of information out there on Infinite Guitars right now. Based on what we can see from game trailer, the game will be a unique take on rhythm games with a heavy RPG element. The smooth animations and clear dedication from the developers suggest it will be a fairly well put together game.

While it’s not clear yet if the game has any serious faults, the game is going to be released very soon. It will be well worth checking out a demo to see if the game holds up to all the promise the trailers show.
