Let’s Ride: Silver Buckle Stables is an adorable horse riding simulation game that was released back in 2006. Though the graphics are a bit outdated, the gameplay is still very enjoyable, especially if you’re a fan of animals. Character customisation

Let’s Ride: Silver Buckle Stables gives every player a very personalised experience thanks to the variety of customisation options available when creating a character. You can choose your own name, gender, hairstyle, hair colour, and eye colour, so if you want to make a character that looks exactly like you, you can! You can even scroll through a range of outfits and choose one that matches your style, too.

The whole customisation section of the game reminds me a lot of The Sims and I’m all here for it.

Creating your ideal horse companion

Alongside customising your player character, you can also create a unique horse companion! Choose from a range of coat colours, hair colours, and saddle types to make your horse look exactly how you want it to. It’s worth noting that you can actually change the horse’s appearance at any point in the game, too, so don’t worry about having to make any permanent decisions right at the start.

Taking care of your horse

Let’s Ride: Silver Buckle Stables features two main gameplay modes, the first of which involves taking care of your horse in the barn. Here, you can do all sorts of activities such as washing, brushing, or feeding your horse. All of these things contribute to your horse’s health, so if you don’t take care of it, it’ll move slower during races and outdoor activities. Be sure to keep on top of this!

Riding outdoors and participating in competitions

The second main gameplay mode in Let’s Ride: Silver Buckle Stables involves actually riding the horse, as you may have guessed. First, you’ll want to take advantage of the free ride area which is an open space for you to practise riding around. You can practise timed events here too. Once you’ve got the hang of the controls and riding mechanics, you can then go on to participate in various competitions to earn prizes.
