Point & Click games are a super fun genre of games, but we don't usually get to see a lot of them nowadays, so if you have been looking for one, well, you found it! Mechanic 8320 looks like a fantastic game, and in it, you will take control of a mechanic and help him in his journey to find his robot buddy RO-2 so that together they can discover the reason for the world that the Cataclysm destroyed. So, will you be able to solve this mystery?

A post-apocalyptic puzzle

Your journey starts on the planet Ilgrot, a place populated by two different mutant races and their robot assistants. Something seems off about this place, as an artificial intelligence rule it. You take control of a mechanic that works collecting trash and sending it to a smelter. However, during work, you stumble upon a damaged rocket ship, and before sending it to the smelter, you notice that there is a robot inside and decide to look at it. You realize that it seems different from the usual robots in Ilgrot and decides to fix him. However, after doing so, the authorities show up at your home, and they are after the robot. You manage to help it escape, but you are captured and sent to have your memory wiped. You wake up in a jail cell, and you must now break so that you can go after the robot and get some answers.

Solve Puzzles To Learn The Truth

Mechanic 8320 will require you to solve puzzles in able to move forward. To do so, you will need to carefully analyze your surroundings and see if there is anything to help you. The game use point & click mechanics, so don't be afraid to click everywhere on the screen so that you can find items that can be used or combined to help you overcome the obstacles in your way. The puzzles in the game are not extremely challenging and complicated, so you probably won't find yourself struggling at any point. So if you are into games like Unpacking and Escape Simulator, you will have a good time playing this one.

Summary

The game has pretty cute and charming graphics, a fantastic soundtrack that fits perfectly with the theme, and each level has its own unique one. Each level is different from the previous one and will challenge you in different ways, with brand new puzzles to solve. And as you solve more puzzles, the more you will learn about the story until you eventually discover the whole plot.

Overall, Mechanic 8320 seems like a super fun game that you can play to relax and have a good time. Since the puzzles aren't that hard, you probably won't get frustrated that you're stuck on a certain level. The game currently has an available demo on Steam, so if you're interested, go check it out. Sadly it doesn't have an official release date yet, but it will be released sometime in 2022.
