Your name is Monster Max and you want to become a famous rock star. Nothing seemed to be in your way to achieving a very long and successful career... nothing, that is, until your planet was conquered by the tyrant Krond, who bans all music. Something has to be done. You must fight this evil tyrant and free your world so you can continue with your career plans. The people decide to help you and enroll you in the Mega-heroes Academy. Battle your way through nine different levels, each with a variety of courses, enemies and rewards to reap. The rooms and obstacles will take some brain-busting.
When I first picked up this game and plugged it in, I thought, "Great, another Game Boy game." But as I played it, I enjoyed it more and more.
The best feature of this game is the password option. That may seem boring, but let's see how much you like it when you die unexpectedly.
Although the graphic capability of the Game Boy is limited, I believe they did a good job but it needs something more graphic-wise.
WILL YOU LIKE IT?
Although this game is geared toward a younger audience,
I think that it is good--especially if you are in the mood for a light strategy-type game. This is a great game for the young player.

Titus calls this the first "isometric 3D platform game," and indeed it does look different. Max is a rock star trying to restore the music that's been banned from his planet, a quest that takes him through 630 rooms of the Mega Hero Academy. The voluminous game play features many unique puzzles and challenges. Along the way, Max uses items like bombs, swords, maps, and bouncy springs.
If you like to think with your brain rather than your thumbs, meet Monster Max. Max dreams of becoming a monster rocker; unfortunately, King Krond has banned music!
You help Max solve a massive nine-level maze of enigmatic rooms. The excellent variety of puzzles offers challenges like guiding remote-controlled robots and eluding electrified floors. However, the controls require practice, since Max moves diagonally.
MM is an imaginative mind boggier, but sometimes it's a little too little. For instance, the helpful, transportable items are tough to see.
As long as puzzling predicaments don't make your brain swell, put your thinking cap into maximum overdrive with Monster Max.
- Some floor surfaces pulse with electric death. Stand on any Item you cany.
