You've waited a long time for this game and listened to us tell you how it was going to make your jaw drop. I even thouaht that NHL All-Star hockey might help give the Saturn a big boost against the PlayStation. Well, never have we been so totally wrong.
This game is weak, there's no two ways about it. Every time I thought Sega might have done something right on this game, something else stupid happened which made me think otherwise.
For starters, the graphics are terrible. I haven't seen a triangular puck since the days of Intellivision. Not only are the graphics choppy, but the many camera angles on the game are useless. Most of them offer nothing in the way of a playable view.
On the up side, All-Star Hockey does control pretty well, and you can role-play as any one of the players. This, however, is not enough to save this pork chop.

Game Reviews
Take a look; this is what you'd be buying. With a plethora of camera angles and really big players, Sega is hoping that NHL All-Star Hockey will solidify its place as the leader in sports games on the 32-bit platform. All NHL teams and players are included in this game as well as some fine sound and playability.
