Sengoku Rance

Sengoku Rance is the seventh game in this long-running series and it is one of the better ones. While there is a lot of sex in this game and some of the characters are super-hot. This is a fun turn based/time-based/tactical RPG that is far better than you would think. While the hentai part of the game is great, you will be really sucked in by the gameplay.

Conquer The Land

The story of Sengoku Rance is set in ancient Japan and you play as Rance, a man who wants to conquer the land, save the land and of course bang as many hot chicks in the process. The overall story of the game is not going to blow you away and truth be told it basically boils down to a big bad evil awaking and wanting to take over the land and you having to stop him. However, there are enough elements that are interesting to keep you invested in what is going on.

Watch Those Turns!

The gameplay of Sengoku Rance is interesting in that you only have so many actions per each turn. This really forces you to think about what you are doing and plan things carefully. On the flip side of this, the game gives you a much higher score the quicker you do things so it is a rather intense gameplay experience. Having to decide about finally putting that little nation that has been annoying you in its place or banging a hot girl is a decision that will weigh heavily on your mind!

Generals At War!

While the main character of the game is, of course, Rance you have many different generals that you can enlist to help you in battle. Each general has their own personality, skills and leveling up. What is cool about this aspect of the game is that first of all planning what generals you are going to take into battle and where they will stand. Also, you can get new generals that you can take as prisoners by beating your enemies, watch out though as the same can happen to yours. This is an aspect of the game that I really liked and I would advise you to try and level up as many as you can. Once you have defeated a nation with your might you can get some “satisfaction” this is where the sex action comes into play and it is actually done very well.

The Lay Of The Land

The world map is where you will spend most of your time. Here you can work on your party, look at your party, choose what to do and so on. It is very easy to understand what the deal with the world map is and it makes navigating the game very easy. This is the kind of game that you will want to play through more than once. Especially as there is a new game plus which lets you play through it again with your powered-up abilities and gives you many new things that you can earn in the game.

I was very impressed with Sengoku Rance. So much so that it has made me actually want to dive in and check out other games in this series, like Rance Quest or Sengoku Basara 2 Heroes. The sex is great and all, but this is actually a really solid video game and one that is well worth playing if you have an interest in tactical/turn based RPGS…. And lots of big boobs and sex of course!
