ATRI My Dear Moments

ATRI My Dear Moments is a visual novel and I am going to get this right out of the way here, this is a 10/10 game. This is a stunning, beautiful, and thought provoking visual novel that grabbed me from the moment I read the synopsis of what the story was and it did not let go until I got to the good ending. This is the kind of story that just sticks with you and I ended up having to play through this all in one sitting as I could not wait to find out what happened next.

The Ocean Is A Cruel Mistress

The world that ATRI My Dear Moments is set in is not a great place. The oceans have risen and many parts of the world are now underwater. Our protagonist is a 17 year old guy called, Natsuki. Natsuki has had a rough life, he lost his mother and one of his legs in an accident, he has dropped out of school and is heading back to his hometown. Here he gets back in touch with the people from his childhood, but in going through his deceased grandmother's things, he comes to find out that she has a lab that is now underwater, and due to a debt, he is tasked with going to this lab.

Under The Sea

I honestly cannot say enough positive things about ATRI My Dear Moments as far as the story goes. You see, once you (and someone else) get to that lab, you find a very realistic looking android called Atri. Atri is a very advanced kind of android that is as close to human as you can get and she wants to help you help her finish the last job she had to do for your grandmother. No spoilers here, but this is one hell of a wild and emotional ride that grabs you by the heart and soul and does not let go. The writing is fantastic and at the end of the day, it is a story about what it really means to be human.

Every Choice Matters

I so wanted things to go right in ATRI My Dear Moments that I would pour over each choice so I truly picked what I felt was right. This is a visual novel at the end of the day and the story does have a couple of outcomes, but you so want to make sure that you get the “good” ending as this is the real and true ending of this story. The game plays the same way that any other visual novel does and as the story is so well done, you are hooked and engaged the whole time and you truly do feel like there is a lot weighing on each of the choices that you are forced to make.

The Beauty Of The Ocean

ATRI My Dear Moments is one of the best looking visual novels I have ever played. The characters all look amazing and have a realistic look for them as far as an anime goes. The game is just poetry in motion and I think that the whole water filled world that has been created here looks amazing and right from the start, it makes you want to know more about this pace. As well as looking fantastic, this game is helped become even more spectacular thanks to the amazing voice acting that brings these characters to life. You can tell that each actor well and truly gave their performance their all.

• I have not heard about an English dub for the anime yet
