Battle Team

Battle team is a low-poly multiplayer first-person shooter brought to you by Hsgame. If you are looking for a funny few hours of running around a battlefield shooting your friends in a goofy world, then this is the game for you. With a comedic tone, this game offers more of a relaxed shoot ‘em up environment, where you are able to go wild with gun choices and customization options. Approach the battle your own way, and make use of environmental elements to defeat your foes or challenge them fair and square with a weapon of your choice. Let’s get into it.

Gameplay

Battle Team is a pretty straight-forward game, it’s a blend of Totally Accurate Battle Simulator and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’s online gameplay. This game has some pretty tight first-person gameplay that is responsive and easy to get into. You will be able to select a loadout of rifles, snipers, pistols, and grenades, and launch a full assault on the enemy team with deadly precision.

There are a handful of maps for you to pick from, some are large fields with many trees and rivers, others are military bases, there is enough diversity here that the map rotations don’t get boring too quickly and allow you to try new things each time, becoming more and more proficient as the games go on.

Visuals

The visuals are by far the most striking element to this title. Battle Team looks like it could be a Roblox game, but it’s got a kind of frenetic energy that game doesn’t have. Visually, the game is juicy with some popping colors that keep it stimulating.

Some of the maps are quite stunning with color palettes that look like they were ripped from Fortnite. It gives it a much more family friendly feel when shooting your friends. Other maps are much more grey scale, but I like the amount of detail that’s gone into the set dressing. Whether it’s a box on the floor or a forklift in the corner, there is enough detail that it manages to keep you invested.

The characters are very simple also, with limited visual mobility in their limbs, but this does not affect gameplay at all, as the animations are all still smooth and easy to look at. The weapons themselves are all unique and close enough representations of their real-world counterparts.

One of the best things about the visuals is that they don’t overload your eyes. I find that with some modern games, with how high-resolution each section is, you can sometimes miss the soldiers for the trees, and get distracted by how pretty it all looks. Maybe that’s a more personal experience, but I guess the point is the unique style is not something to scoff at.

Multiplayer

That’s right, kiddos, this baby is multiplayer. You can jump online with all your friends, or some strangers if you’re feeling it, and blast away until the wee hours of the morning. Its fun for all in this free-for-all. Buts that’s not all, with three game modes, you have Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, and Domination to keep you up to your eyes in good times.
