Demon Boy Saga

I first played Demon Boy Saga a little while back and thought that it showed some promise, however, it was really lacking in content. I just recently went back to play the game after like a year to see what had been added and I am sorry to say that not much has! This is a game that as I write this has been worked on for a few years and I have to be honest and say that it seems like it is getting close to getting an abandoned tag. However, I still do think there is potential here and what I played was rather entertaining.

Bad Times For Rich People

When it comes to the story of Demon Boy Saga, what we are dealing with here is pretty much a corruption style of game. There is this elite and wealthy family that has ended up falling on some pretty major hardships and we play as a guy that is going to use this to his own advantage to get what he wants out of them and life. I think that there is a lot of potential here with the story and the idea of this guy coming in and taking over the family is something I can get behind.

The Ladies Of The House

There are not exactly a ton of characters in Demon Boy Saga and to be fair, I am ok with that. We have a mom and three daughters that we are basically trying to corrupt into being our sexual playthings and that is pretty much the direction that the story goes. I do think they have something here, but my goodness is this a slow burn. I am okay with stories that are slow if they have a good payoff. However, even after three years of development, there is still no payoff for the setup here and that is beyond frustrating!

The Prologue Is The Game

I know that I just said that Demon Boy Saga was a really slow burn of a game, but unless you have played the game you cannot fathom just how slow it is. There is a kind of prologue thing to set the stage, but this is the longest introduction to a lewd game I have ever experienced! It needs to be massively trimmed down and get us to the actual game. This is a lewd sandbox style of game and it is rather competent in that it does what it does well. You just click around the various areas and chat with people to further move along your relationship so you can get what you want out of them.

Now, if you read any other reviews about Demon Boy Saga, you will read the same thing over and over again and that is the lack of content and it is crazy that after being in development for all this time there is only one sex scene! Heck, even that is not a full sex scene! The thing is, this is even more frustrating because of the slow paced story and gameplay, not to mention that the character renders are actually really good and I would love to have seen way more XXX scenes with them.

Pros:

• It is interesting to play as a bad guy
• To be fair all of the female renders are attractive
• I do think that the story has some potential
• It is not a grind fest like some other lewd sandbox games are

Cons:

• This is one of the slowest paced lewd games I have ever played
• The lack of lewd content makes sitting through this a waste of your time

Demon Boy Saga is a lewd sandbox style game that I put some serious time into last weekend so I thought I would share my thoughts on it. This game as far as I am aware is still being updated as I write this so, please keep that in mind as any issues I may have had could be fixed by the time you get around to playing it. Anyway, I have played a ton of games like this and I liked the idea of the corruption twist that the story appeared to have so that was why I decided to give the game a try.

Making The Best Out Of A Bad Situation

I have to admit with a name like Demon Boy Saga I was expecting something much more sinister, evil, and fantasy based in terms of the story. The story here is really hard to follow as the translation is not the best. The basics are that we have this wealthy family that is about to go through some really hard times. Our “hero” decides to take advantage of this for himself to make sure that he gets laid a whole bunch and becomes the head of the family… well that was how I interpreted what was going on!

Any Girl Is Fair Game!

In my humble opinion, the best thing about Demon Boy Saga is the renders, there are some fantastic looking characters in this game. In the time I spent with the game, I have to be honest and say that I did not come across a ton of sex scenes, but the ones that I did see were well done and had a bit of animation to them which actually looked pretty natural all things considered. The areas that you will be going to in the game all look decent enough and the overall “realistic” aesthetic to the visuals is pretty easy on the eyes.

My Clicking Finger Is Getting Really Tired

The first thing I have to tell you about Demon Boy Saga is that the prologue takes way, way too long. You are looking at four days of in game time to get through it! There is no need for that whatsoever and I would not blame people if they switched off before even getting to the first chapter. This is a very slow-paced kind of game, a game that has a lot of clicking which can start to get old pretty fast. The game is your typical lewd sandbox style of game where you click around and try to be in the right place at the right time to get the best scene. There are plenty of ladies to interact with and try and hook up with, but the slow pace may deter some people.

Pros:

• The main character has a bit of attitude about them
• There are some great looking ladies in the game
• The sex scenes that I did see were done very well
• I do think that there could be a good story in here somewhere

Cons:

• You may lose interest before chapter one even starts
• The game feel starts to feel like a chore pretty early on
