Story

As this is a Visual Novel style game like Danganronpa or Phoenix Wright, there is little in the way of constant gameplay. Much of the title consists of reading and making simple choices but beware as some of those choices can have lasting effects on both you and the other members of the literature club.

With some more interesting sections of gameplay where you may write poems or talk with other characters about your relationship come up often, a lot of the title is clicking through conversations. Please, do not mistake that for boring, I can assure you that this game is anything but boring.

There is a rich and engaging story here with so much to offer discerning players. It really has the ability to make you think, while approaching both light and heavier subjects with a unique viewpoint. It has a fantastic way of masking those more serious issues and delivering them in a cuter art style, its actually quite similar to games like Undertale in that respect.

Art Stye and Personality

The art style in this title is adorable, the characters are very cute and the world is really colorful and easy to look at. They’ve put a lot of effort into making it so the characters have “out of school” clothing and unique character designs that easily separate them and their personalities. It’s easy to tell that a lot of love went into this title. There’s also a large collection of pictures for player to peruse as well, should that take your fancy. More examples of the brilliant art style.

Music

The music of this game is some of the catchiest little ditties that I have ever heard. Something that I found distinct and unique was that the music actually changes and adapts as the story progresses. It evolves in an interesting way that I’ve never seen before and perfectly accents the mood of the scenes in a brilliant and sometimes shocking way.

As this is the Plus edition, there are over 13 new songs for players to enjoy with some by more well-known artists like Nikki Kaelar, Jason Hayes and Azuria Sky. There’s a lot of carefully curated tunes that will surely please any player.
