Hush Hush - Only Your Love Can Save Them

As soon as I saw the trailer for Hush Hush - Only Your Love Can Save Them I knew this was a visual novel that I had to check out. It is worth noting that the game as of me writing this is in early access so the fully finished version is not what I am basing this article on today. Still, if you like visual novels and especially those that have a twist then I think this is one that you have to make sure you are keeping a close eye on.

Crush, Crush

If the character models here seem familiar there is a very good reason for that. Hush Hush - Only Your Love Can Save Them is based on characters from another popular game called, Crush, Crush. The idea here is that there are five girls that we must date to save them from something terrible.

It starts off all happy-go-lucky, but each girl has something dark that she is dealing with and saving them from it is really what this is all about.

I Got The Key To Your Secret

Each girl has a secret that you are trying to unlock and deal with and that is what the gameplay is all about. I would also say that while this is a visual novel, it has many dating sim elements as well. So in addition to reading the text and making various decisions as you progress through the game, you will also have to manage a few other things too. The story is quite “adult” and that is something I think is going to make the various twists and turns a bit more gruesome. I am not seeing anything here that is radically different from what other similar styles of games offer, but I do think there is some very interesting stuff here.

From Light To Dark!

The presentation of Hush Hush - Only Your Love Can Save Them is fantastic! The first trailer that I saw for this was all light and happy go lucky and I thought I had this all pegged. Yet, then it gets dark and grey and sends shivers down your spine.

The character models are fantastic and have some nice levels of animation and there are many facial animations too which really help move the story along and get you more connected to the characters.

At the moment as the game is in early access there is not a ton of stuff that you can really say about Hush Hush - Only Your Love Can Save Them, but what I can tell you is that it is all very promising. There are some great ideas here and the rather twisted nature of the story is something that I think is very interesting and sure to make the game appealing to a larger audience than your standard dating sim style of story.
