Legacy of the Wizard

Published and developed by Nihon Falcom Corp., Quintet Co., Ltd., this fantasy-themed, action-adventure platform video game was released in 1987.

Keela, an evil dragon, was locked up in a magical dungeon a long time ago. As the time passes by, the magic is getting weaker. The Drasle family has decided that now it is time to do away with the dragon once and forever. But, there is only one weapon that can do this - the Dragon Slayer - which is also had been sealed away by the four magical crowns. The family decides to take on the quest, and is going use every family member to complete it.

The large dungeon is divided into 5 areas; entering it the player needs to collect various items, that can be used by particular characters, and so progress through the dungeon, defeat monsters. Monsters drop power-ups like gold, keys, health-restoring bread, magic-resoring potions and health-damaging poison. Inside the dungeon there are hidden shops where you can spend gold on items and other power-ups that are available.
