Prion: Infection

Prion: Infection is a first-person shooter in which players take on the role of Alex Mercer, the leader of a special unit tasked with fighting mutants. A biological catastrophe caused by a prion protein has struck the world. People discovered it as a treatment for the sick, but failed to fully research all aspects of this substance. An epidemic broke out, and most of the population turned into zombies. This protein destroyed the neural connections in the human brain, and now they have become mere ghostly shadows of their former selves. Your mission is to prevent humanity from disappearing from the face of the Earth. For the most part, you’ll be completing quests that involve finding a specific item while fighting your way through crowds of zombies and shooting anyone who gets in your way.
