Explore, develop and conquer as you find your new footing in a world gone sour, you get to choose who you want to back and how you want to approach the rest of the changed world. Gameplay

So, the gameplay in this game is kind of reminiscent of Fallen Enchantress: Legendary Heroes mixed with They Are billions. It strikes a unique but captivating balance between the art and gameplay styles, making players focus heavily on resource management, combat and progression.

I found this game to be brilliant fun with a lot of interesting avenues to develop your chosen city. You can choose to play as either Steampunk, Dieselpunk, Atompunk or Steelpunk, each of which focus on their own societal endeavors. Increase scientific, industrial and military infrastructure, grow your territory, explore the ruins of a bygone era until you are the dominant civilization on the planet.

It’s up to you as to how you want to progress but the likely case it that things will wind up pushing you to war. Make sure you focus on strengthening your military just as much as everything else. You need to evaluate what is most necessary of your time and resources. As combat plays a large part of this title, the turn-based systems are quite simple to get ahold of and allow you to put your strategic, tactical thinking to its best use.

Story

One of the most interesting parts of this game is when you explore the abandoned megacity and discover its secrets and mysteries. There is always something so satisfyingly macabre about finding out what happened and how everything came to be the way it is.

The rest of the story after this point is up to you. Decide what kind of future you are all going to move into and make it happen. Just try to make sure that anyone is left to experience it.

Art Style

The art style to this game is pretty great, can’t deny that. The game is presented with that dark, gritty look that really helps set the scene, placing you in a destroyed world. Depending on what society you have chosen to build, some will have vibrant blue electric lights in some of the buildings you create which drastically contrast the cold dusty world around them. There is something so striking about the art style that has a fantastic attention to detail and really captures the imagination, helping to place you in the game.
