I've got a soft spot in my heart for budget priced anthology titles. Like anyone with a healthy sense of nostalgia, I look back on yesterday and wish that the games made by modern publishers could live up to the hopes, dreams, and ambitions of days gone by. Oh, for that heady day when Lucasarts games didn't have a 50/50 chance of sucking, or the era when the Vault Dweller scoured the sands of post-apocalypse earth looking for a single water chip. And then there's Street Fighter. Like perhaps every fighting game aficionado, I was weened on these games from a young age. While the 2d fighter market didn't enthrall me, I still really enjoyed these games, for their emphasis on polished, captivating gameplay.
Packed with five separate games, among them Gem Fighter (!!!), you can pick from any of the Street Fighter Alpha titles (each recreated faithfully), and bash it out with your friends. I can't speak much to the gameplay because, frankly, what is there to say? These games are great if you're a fighting game fan, and decent if you aren't. Besides, they've been talked about so many times before that I can't really add anything. The only thing I can say in particular is that I love the addition of Gem Fighter. I loved playing Gem Fighter, since I was a huge fan of their Puzzle Fighter puzzle game, so seeing it included in this anthology was great.
If you're picky about presentation, you might be in for some tough luck. None of these games can compete visually with more modern titles (I'm thinking about you, Guilty Gear X!), so you'll have to get used to the ancient look of these games. However, if you're the sort of person I think you are, you grabbed a copy of this title so you could get down with some great old fighting gameplay. I don't think you're the sort of person that's going to worry about the age of these games.
Where am I going with this? I really don't know anymore. But I do know that this anthology is well worth the money. You aren't going to be buying this if you aren't already a Street Fighter fan, and for those of you that are, this game is definitely worth the cost.

Game Reviews
This collection shovels the oft-overlooked Street Fighter Alpha games onto a disc with the universally overrated Pocket fighter (mysteriously renamed Super Gem Fighter Mini Mix here) to create another value-priced dose of 2D fighting nostalcpa. Hardcore fans will dig the unlockables....
Bottom line:
While these games aren't quite as pretty or deep as Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike, they're still worth your money.
