Waifu Secret 2

I had a lot of fun with the first game so I was excited to jump back in with Waifu Secret 2. Not much has changed here and if you liked the first game, I would wager that you will once again have a fun time with what this is offering. However, if the first game did not float your boat and left you with a feeling of “meh” then I am sorry to say that there is no point in you trying this game as it is more of the same.

So, I Am Writing This Book

I liked the premise of the first game where you were gossiping with a sexy chick about all the sexy stuff her friends got up to. With Waifu Secret 2, the premise is a little bit similar. This time around you are an author who is writing a book and this time you have a crazy chick that is telling you a bunch of sexy stories that you can use to get inspired for your book.

It is a fun premise, but I must say I do think the first game told its stories a little bit better. Here it almost has a kind of rushed feel to it.

Cleaning The Pipes

If you played the first game, you will feel right at home with the gameplay that Waifu Secret 2 is offering. Once again, you need to move the pipes into the right location so that the water can get to where it needs to go. On paper, this is the kind of thing that sounds very easy, but this is way more challenging than you would think. It was made even more challenging thanks to there being missing pipe pieces on some levels, making them impossible!

Thankfully, that was fixed and just like the last game, you can press the F key to skip a level if you wish. I was not sure why this was in the first game, but I am glad it is here as people who were early adopters of this needed it! Nothing new at all has been added to the gameplay! I feel this is a bit of a missed opportunity and I do wish they at least tried adding in an extra gameplay mechanic or two.

The Weekend Crew

I was pretty high on the art for the first game, I actually think that it was done very well. With Waifu Secret 2, I think it is a tiny bit of a downgrade. I am not saying it is bad or anything like that and there are certainly some great character models here, but it just seems like a step below what the first game did, especially in regards to the animation.

Again, it is not bad, but I certainly preferred the look of the first game. It is like the game was made by people who were pressed for time or by staff that only works part time on a weekend.

Pros:

• There are some nice looking ladies here
• The idea of the game is fun
• The pipe gameplay is still very challenging
• There are many girls to play with

Cons:

• The game offers nothing new over the first game
• I feel that the art is not quite as good here as it was in the first game
