After a ruthless Soviet attack, the United States must put up a strong defensive front and mount a counterstrike. You have been elected to command the battle tank and wipe out the Soviet offensive.

This simulation cart gives you four different viewing positions from which to plan your strategies. One interesting strategy is to drive up the side of a mountain and surprise the enemy forces! Besides tanks, you will be facing helicopters with one mission: stop your advances! Abrams Battle Tank features 8 different scenarios (plus the whole war), the option of night or day fighting, and two difficulty levels!

Ten different missions take you through punishing enemy terrain and pit you against such bloodthirsty enemy defenses as tanks, copters, machine-gun fire, and mines. Culminate later missions with pulse-pounding full-scale attacks on huge enemy strongholds. A Satellite Radar Map, 150mm cannon, 50 caliber machine guns, smoke bombs and wire-guided missiles help you complete your orders.

Absolute has just created a new tank simulation game for the NES. In this game you take on various missions where you are judged not only on your success or failure but also on how well you did in destroying the enemy forces and bases. Offering a first person perspective looking out the front of the tank you are given the standard battle tank armament and must carefully maneuver your way to your goal watching your radar, fuel and direction. A very realistic game!
