Fx Fighter

The PC is getting meaner! FX Fighter will be a fast-moving rendered-polygon fighting game that features nine extraterrestrial fighters and eight alien worlds. Each character was created using motion-capture animation of 350 moves by real martial artists, and each will have 40 attacks, including special moves. You'll be able to create fighting strategies and tactics based on a variety of far-away and up-close perspectives from several viewing angles. Now you can be the best in the universe!

GTE's out to create the best PC fighting game there is. FX Fighter presents nine 3D texture-mapped combat arenas with a 360-degree flying-camera perspective. The nine extraterrestrial combatants -robots, insects, and cyborgs - battle with 40 attacks per fighter and special moves.

This game is just about the best head-to-head fighting action for the PC to date. Fight as one of eight races with more than 40 regular and special moves. The game's polygon-based graphics are fairly smooth, and the controls, though not lightning-fast, are responsive. Just keep in mind that you need a fairly loaded

Originally scheduled for the Super NES, GTE has switched their thinking and now will bring this polygon fighter out for the PC CD-ROM platform.

From my observations of our beta copy, I would have to compare this one to Jaguar's Fight For Your Life. Take that as you will.
