Gold Club Wasteland is an awesome 2D golf game that takes place on a futuristic version of Earth where life has been wiped out. The only humans remaining are those that fled to Mars, and they come back to Earth every so often to use it as a massive golf course. If you like games where quirky concepts are magnificently brought to life, then Golf Club Wasteland is a game you absolutely have to play. Without further ado, let me go over some more features of the game.

A 2D golf adventure

The gameplay takes place in a 2D environment where you have to navigate obstacles to get your ball from point A to point B in as few hits as possible. Every level brings with it something new, so get ready to think strategically and solve puzzles if you plan on getting to the end. With a bit of practice and some time to get the hang of the controls, you'll be speeding through the levels in no time.

An urban wasteland

Every level in Golf Club Wasteland takes place in some desolate area, whether it be an abandoned shopping mall or an overgrown park. The environment is very artistic and there are even plenty of real-world monuments dotted about that you may spot if you keep a lookout for them. There are also loads of neon signs around that add a bit of humor to the game – I'm sure you'll appreciate these, especially if you're familiar with popular memes.

The radio station

One big thing about this game is the soundtrack which is present in the form of an in-game radio. You’ll be able to listen to calming tunes as you go about your golfing session and feel fully immersed in the experience. Occasionally you’ll also hear updates and announcements about life on Mars over the radio, as well as stories told by humans reminiscing about the old times on planet Earth. It’s all a bit unusual but I’m sure you’ll find it very interesting.
