About the game

We are transported to a fantasy Victorian world where some greedy and ugly creatures compete against each other, all of them hungry to make the most amount of money they can. Of course, to make the most amount of money possible, you have to play a little dirty sometimes, except if you want to win big time, then you have to play as dirty as possible. But beware, these gremlins are as greedy as it gets, and they are ready to play all the craziest and dirtiest tricks as they try to accumulate more wealth than the others.

From the beginning of each match, there are items and power abilities you can exploit to make sure your game is the best, by any means necessary. There are cards and a board in this game, but this is all a way to represent a series of events, kinda like the game LIFE. This is a political game, where you can bribe the police and other entities to allow you to commit any criminal act and go out impune. Here you really have to let the worst of you out if you want to win. Can you play as dirty as possible and be the most corrupt, and richest, gremlin out there?

Not your average card game

When you think of video games that are also card games, titles like Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Links and GWENT The Witcher Card Game comes to mind, but these two are based on more down-to-earth card games. With solid rules, where you have to use solid strategy to cleanly win a game.

But when it comes to games Gremlins, Inc. cheating is the trade of the game, and you need to be as malicious as you can to earn a victory. An online review even dared to call this game "the game that Machiavelli would have designed if he were a game designer".

To understand this game you need to see beyond what the card game mechanics it's composed of. The premise of "homo homini lupus" presented by the English philosopher Hobbes is really here, and that's to say that the human is a wolf for the human, or it's a dog-eat-dog world.
