Horror in Valkeala is an indie puzzle game with horror elements in which you have to survive a creepy nightmare and find your way back to the normal world.

The plot

You wake up in a dilapidated church and have no memory of how you got here. A mysterious voice tells you that you can only get out of here if you find a mysterious artifact that's hidden in a psychiatric hospital. Around you lurk danger - bloodthirsty ghosts kill at a touch, and of the weapons, you have only a weak flashlight. Can you cope with the horror and not go crazy after 5 minutes?

Gameplay

An unusual innovation for the genre is that solving a puzzle incorrectly can injure or kill your character. To progress, explore your surroundings, collect clues, and try not to fall into the clutches of the undead souls of the dead.
