The Dark Occult is a psychological horror game in which players must explore an old manor, and avoid encounters with demonic entities.

Plot

A lonely man named Atkinson mysteriously dies in his mansion. The building is deteriorating every year as no one wants to buy it. Everyone who happened to be in the house, tells of unpleasant feelings, strange voices, and ghosts in the mirrors. Players are invited to take on an investigation into the mysterious house and find out if evil has really settled there.

Gameplay

The gameplay resembles dozens of other horror projects. You need to explore the house, collecting magical artifacts, and after destroying the full collection, the evil spirit will leave the cursed place. You are followed by a ghostly woman in a white hood with long black hair. She appears suddenly anywhere and instantly kills your character.

The same way Slenderman from Slender: The Eight Pages, Freddy Bear from Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach, the maniac neighbor from Secret Neighbor chased you. Look around and hide in time, or you'll join the list of victims.

Pros:

Completing quests in random order
Panic and constant fear atmosphere
Impressive voice acting - quiet whispers scare you more than trivial screamers

Cons:

The developers have added many frightening details to the game, which can be mistaken for a ghost silhouette in the dark, which will make you quite nervous
