Tony Hawk's Underground 2 Remix
So with the previous success of, it seemed like a port to the PSP would be a good idea. Since so much of THUG 2 is dependant on a solid control system, there was some risk that this whole effort could completely backfire. The good news is that didn't happen.
Tony Hawk's Underground 2 Remix is essentially a direct port from the console version and although ports usually aren't all that impressive, that fact that it made it on the PSP completely in tact graphically, audibility, and in gameplay is remarkable. Even the control system is user friendly as it probably had the biggest obstacle to overcome. You'll still see the Story Mode and Classis mode and in addition, there were also 4 new levels added to spice up the original, which fit in seamlessly.
For those not familiar with THUG 2, basically you enter a 'private'? competition with two teams called the World Destruction Tour. As you can imagine, the point is to be a general menace to society all over the world. The main point is to cause destruction using various moves and tricks.
I've gotta say this is a good sign for the PSP if popular games like THUG 2 can make a fairly seamless port. Tony Hawk's Underground 2 Remix definitely shows off the PSP's potential and we should only expect more in the future.
