Top Hunter

Top Hunter is a spectacular looking game loaded with lots of techniques and power-ups. This game gives you the opportunity to play in both the foreground and the background, similar to Fatal Fury. The graphics and sound are simply too cool for words. The only real flaw with the game is that you can breeze through it rather quickly. However, it's great as a one-shot deal. It's fun, but too expensive.

As with all Neo games, it's easy to get suckered in by the outstanding graphics and sound. But Top Hunter required little brain power to blow through it, making it a less than ideal choice for purchasing. You will, however, find lots of techniques to learn, strange Bosses to defeat, and excellent play control. But the difficulty, even on the hardest setting, is still way too easy. It's a good quarter muncher, though.

Hey! A Neo-Geo game that isn't a fighting game! Anyway, the graphics are awesome and superbly drawn with plenty of color and detail. The background music is cute and is orchestrated well to match the game. The sound effects, especially the explosions, wilt rock your speakers! The control is very responsive. Even though it has these things going for it, the whole concept wasn't original enough.

This game looks awesome. The characters, Bosses, and backgrounds are well drawn. To accompany its good looks are high quality sound effects and almost orchestral music. There is plenty of technique, like fireballs and dragon punches, to keep the play fresh. It also boasts the famous 3-D hopping like the Neo fighting games. I especially like the two-payer simultaneous action.
