Camerica has teamed up once again with Code Masters to create another multi-scrolling game goodie, Ultimate Stuntman. In this James Bondesque adventure you absolutely, positively have to rescue the nation's weapons specialist (Jenny Aykroyd) torn the clutches of Dr. Evil. With one, tiny gun and an iron will to survive you set out to conquer a multitude of high-risk, high-reward stunts, including car chases, scaling walls with your bare hands, and soaring the air currents in a Microlight aircraft. No stunt's too dangerous for the Ultimate Stuntman.

In Camerica's latest sleuth-or-be-slain game, mad scientist Dr. Evil has shanghaied Jenny Aykroyd from the "Project Aries" nuclear weapons lab. Your mission as the Ultimate Spiderman is to nullify the Doc I before he launches a nuclear nightmare.
To complete this Ultimate crash course, you I must survive all sorts of high risk, high reward stunts.
First you're in for a tire-streakin' car chase, which closely resembles Spy Hunter. Then you I run and gun through a side-scrolling street fight similar to Rolling Thunder. Next, you're thrust onto the wall of a massive complex in a Spiderman -- style scaling sequence. Finally comes a tense puzzle area where you must defuse a bomb before it blasts Stuntman into the stratosphere. And that's all in the first level! Later areas feature a Microlight hang-glider pursuit through overhead and side-view cliffs, a fast-paced riverboat chase, and an up-close-and- personal boss confrontation.
- Don't drive in toe Ground Pursuit segment or you'll miss valuable power-ups. Also, collect all the coins in the bonus round without crashing and you'll win an extra life.
- Don't pause for too long in the wall-climbing area or the creatures gang up on you. Look for invincibility icons.
Ultimate's stunt world is big and boldly I drawn, courtesy of Camerica's SuperChip I graphics, making an easier interaction with surprisingly little flicker. You also get some cool storyboard cinema.
The Stuntman's challenge is a bit on the I too-hot-and-heavy side even with unlimited J continues, but variety, intuitive control, and larger-than-life characters make this game worth a pull on your NES trigger.
This action video game for one player released in 1990, was developed by Codemasters and published by Camerica for the NES.
The main character, Ultimate Stuntman, is a rogue mercenary. When unexpectedly Jenny Aykroyd was kidnapped by Dr. Evil, Stuntman was called into duty.
There is a range of levels with different concepts, like in a side-scrolling action game. In the first level, Stuntman mostly has to chase down Dr. Evil in different kinds of vehicle, such as a car, hang glider, ATV and so on. In the second level he has to fight the evil on foot with the help of a firearm. In the third one the player controls Stuntman who needs to climb up a structure. But at the same time, the player controls the sniper, that helps Stuntman by shooting down objects and creatures that threaten him while he climbs. Well, through the entire game, you should be watchful of rockfalls, missiles, bullets and bombs and other surprises from Dr. Evil. To improve your chances of success, pick up all the weapons, hidden along the route.
