Go to the field with your favorite team, and face off against your friends or the CPU to come out as the winner. Choose from forty-four international clubs and thirty-three major ones. So you can pick your favorite team, and use them to compete against your opponents. Four different modes can be chosen.

Football Generation was released back in 2003 for the PS2, and it resembles many of other games that were released close to it, like Winning Eleven and FIFA. For fans of the sport, this game did a good job back in the day competing with other titles.

At the beginning of its development, the game was set to be released for computers, and Cryo, the company that was developing the game, was cooperating with the Italian star player, Zinedine Zidan. But in 2002, Cryo was liquidated and the title was canceled, but Trecision picked up the rights to the game and started working on it again. Zidane no longer was cooperating, and the name of the game was changed to Football Generation.

Before the match begins, you must choose your club, and each of them has its unique strengths and weaknesses. After making your selection, you will be directed to the game menu, where you can change the difficulty, the level of the referee, how long the match will last, among other things.

Different Modes

The four different modes that can be chosen are quick-match, where players can choose either national or club teams, clubs cup, which is a complete cup with all of the classic rules, clubs league, that is a full league that has a championship in the end, custom competition, a mode where you customize all of the rules of the competition, and scenario mode, where you play a specific cup or league.

But the fun in games like these always lies in the multiplayer mode, as competing against your friends always makes things more exciting. Playing alone at times can be boring and frustrating, but when alongside a friend, games like these shine. Football Generation is a fun game gam, either way, so you can choose how you want to play.

Football Generation was aimed to be one huge title and was made to compete against games like Winning Eleven and FIFA. Sadly the game was not able to maintain its popularity and wasn’t able to compete with the games of the same genre that were released at the same time.

The game was released back in 2002, and it is an extremely old game. Having more than one game mode makes the game more interesting, and that it can be played more than once. Back in the day, games like these were extremely popular, and Football Generation tried to ride that wave.
