The result: an insane racing game where every twist and turn becomes a challenge, thanks to Golf Gang’s overreliance on physics-based jumps and obstacles. If you manage to clear all these hazards, you’ll have to contend with the ball’s tendency to go in whatever direction it pleases, resulting in erratic races that often require the player to pull out all stops.

Every step, no matter how small, becomes a challenge when you compete against Golf Gang’s wacky obstacle courses. The gameplay is quite simple: players strike the ball when it’s moving, trying their best to reach the goal much faster than the other competitors.

To make things even more challenging, the game features an option for time trials. This makes the experience far more intense, as players will need to complete the course at maximum speed, using everything they have just to reach the finish line ahead of the pack. Speaking of game modes, we haven’t even touched the game’s outstanding competitive multiplayer modes.

With hundreds of holes to race around in, the fun is nearly endless in Golf Gang. Additionally, players can modify the rules to make races much more interesting: low gravity, slow motion, and massive explosions are but a few of the modifications players can use to add some spice to any race.

The fast-paced, bite-sized gameplay of Golf Gang is perfect for short gaming bursts – however, there are also longer challenges for those that wish to get to grips with the game.

Visually speaking, the game uses a basic, textureless presentation reminiscent of what we’ve seen in titles such as Human Fall Flat. The colorful and cartoony visuals work wonders in terms of keeping things light-hearted and friendly; it helps that the game is quite easy on the eye.

In terms of sound design, Golf Gang doesn’t really bring much to the table, despite the game’s quirky presentation. Granted, there’s just so much a developer can do in terms of sound design in a game such as this. All you really need is a satisfying smash, and it seems like the team has nailed that aspect with aplomb.
