Story

Hidden Expedition: Titanic is based on the real-world tragedy of the HMS Titanic, a ship thought to be unsinkable that set sail in 1912. After running into an iceberg in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, the Titanic began to sink, leaving thousands of passengers to fight for their life. Now, decades later, the wreckage of the Titanic still sits at the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean, encouraging treasure hunters and divers to explore its dangerous depths. Unlike other games based on the tragedy like Titanic: The Experience and Titanic: Adventure Out of Time, Hidden Expedition: Titanic offers a much more joyful take on this upsetting tale.

In the game, you play as a group of scuba divers sent to the Titanic wreckage to search for valuable treasure and other important relics. After each of your missions, you'll head back to the surface and place these artifacts in the growing Titanic Museum, ready to be displayed for eager attendees. However, there's not much of a story to Hidden Expedition: Titanic, as the focus is largely on the gameplay. That said, it's still a fun take on an otherwise tragic story.

Gameplay

In Hidden Expedition: Titanic, you must brave the cold waters of the Atlantic Ocean and repeatedly dive into the wreckage of the ship, examining various rooms while you search for lost treasure. Much like other seek-and-find games including Hidden Through Time and Nightmares from the Deep, a lot of your time will be spent closely examining a single screen as you search for specific objects. The game includes 14 different diving missions which allow you to explore 17 different rooms in the Titanic.

If you're ever stuck and don't know where the next object is, you can use hints that direct you toward your goal with an easy-to-see glow. This makes it so you'll never get stuck for too long and always have a way to progress through the game. It's loads of fun to get lost in the beautiful room designs, which feature interesting underwater oddities and other cool visuals.
