NCAA Football 11 greets players with a brand new, modern presentation that sets it apart from its bigger brother, the Madden series. These brand new, well-crafted graphics are aided by an incredible, state-of-the-art lighting system that allows for more realistic shadows.

Also, the king of sports commentary: ESPN, lends an added touch of immersion by providing real commentators for both gameplay, and live-action sequences in the “Road To Glory” story campaign. You could almost mistake gameplay with a real-life, televised football game with the included ESPN transitions between plays and instant replays.

Take The Dynasty Online

Also brand new for NCAA Football 11 is the Online Dynasty mode, which is the evolution of the Dynasty mode from previous entries, where you manage a 12 player team through multiple seasons and take them to the top of the college team pile. This time, Dynasty mode leaves the confines of your home console and is now available on PC and iOS devices through a web-based dynasty manager. You now have the entire NCAA at your fingertips, on the go. Scan through available players and decide who to recruit to your budding mega team. Engage with players to make them feel more at home and part of the team. Receive email updates on how your players are advancing, and keep track of their progress. Use this information to build stories to spread the news about how your team is coming up with the Story Builder, another brand new addition to NCAA Football 11.

Get In The (Improved) Game

While all of the presentation and Dynasty updates are fantastic new additions, it isn’t an NCAA Football game without gameplay! And this year’s game has improved gameplay mechanics in spades, Including an “intelligent” blocking system, which improves the AI of your linemen players to not just block the opposing linemen, but to also move to their second line of defense to create openings for your pass rushers. This opens up a cavalcade of custom play opportunities! Also new this year is the locomotion engine, which gives all players more fluid movement, eliminating the unpleasant hitches that were present in previous games.

Now, your players not only look like real people, but they also move like them too! When you have possession of the ball, evade the clutches of opposing tacklers with the new dual analog system, which gives you control of the direction you run in as well as your torso, allowing you to twist your body, and the ball, away from the opposite team.
