In Onsen Master, you will get to manage all different types of customers, and you will need to come up with new ingredients to be able to treat all of your client’s ailments, all across this fantasy world called Izajima. However, you can team up with another friend, so that you won’t have to do everything by yourself. So if you think you got what it takes to own and manage an onsen, put your skills to the test in Onsen Master.

The Onsen Master

It was just another day on the island of Izajima when suddenly, a dark cloud appeared in the sky, and it began to heavily affect the citizens of Izajima. And as if that wasn’t enough, demons known as yokai began to appear, and are now running amok within the hot springs of the island.

So now you as the player, must take control of Mu, the disciple of the great Onsen Master, who is now missing, so it is up to you to help everyone on the island, and restore peace to Izajima.

Mu is going to need to do everything in his power to help heal everyone and to do that he must create new ingredients that will help those who were affected by this dark cloud, while also dealing with the yokai. Although his journey isn’t an easy one, as a student of the now missing Onsen Master, it is up to him to manage the hot springs. So you must do your best to heal the island.

The game is short and sweet, and you will be able to play through the single-player story and play six different hot springs levels. You can play the story by yourself, or together with a friend! The game has a couch co-op mode, and you can also play with someone who is far away, by making use of remote play. And while the story is short, that doesn’t mean that there isn’t more to do in the game, as there is also an arcade mode, where you can put your managing skills to the test, and you can also compete against your friend and battle for the title of the true Onsen Master.

Onsen Master is similar to games like Cook-out and Overcooked. So you will need to do your best to help all of your clients, while also managing the hot springs. If you play by yourself, you will be responsible for everything, so you will need to work smart, and always think one step ahead, so that you can be a great host.

Onsen Master is a great game for those who like to manage a business, and it is great to play with a friend.
