Thy Creature

Thy Creature is a game designed for the personal computer. It is a symbiosis of horror, action and strategy with adventure elements. The gamer has several playthrough modes available: alone or in a team. Do not expect the game to be extremely violent. Scenes of violence occur, but the emphasis is on the other. Requires logic, stamina and reaction speed to cope with the task at hand.

Gameplay

The protagonist of Thy Creature is a monster who needs to climb to the top of a tower. He's wounded in battle and has to hide from pursuit, but he's not willing to back down from his goal. Key gameplay features:

• Strange Events. Climbing to a new level of the tower, the character encounters fantastic creatures. Enemies exist outside of space and time, have a distinctive fighting style and do not surrender to the last man
• Mysteries and riddles. Exploring the world of Thy Creature is quite a curiosity. Each level reveals more and more details to the player and gives insight into why it is necessary to follow to the top
• The mysterious inhabitants of the tower. Not only enemies will be encountered along the way, but also strange inhabitants. They've been here a long time, but who they are and why they're here can only be discovered towards the end
• Memory Fragments. You will come across scraps of memories on the path of the protagonist. They probably belong to the wounded monster himself, but that's just a guess

Features of Thy Creature

At first glance, the game's graphics look rather primitive. Only a few colours are used in the drawing: black, red, white and shades of grey. However, it is the minimalism that gives the process its charm. Among the features:

• A variety of methods of destruction. Thy Creature's locations contain objects that can be used to defend and attack. Also, the hero has his own abilities that are developed as you progress through the game
• Lots of blood. The kills look extravagant, certainly as far as it goes given the minimalistic graphics. The drawings smooth out the impression of bloody scenes, so the game does not look too violent
• Logical challenges. Simply killing your enemies won't do the trick. You have to think over every move, otherwise you won't win

Pros and cons

The project will appeal to fans of Her World and Alice, fairly well-known casual indie horror games. It is impossible to identify the advantages and disadvantages of the game in its entirety. The project is in testing mode, constantly being supplemented and updated. For now we can speak of the following pluses:

• Well thought out game world
• A variety of enemies and weapons
• Original logical tasks
• Impressive scenes of enemy destruction
• Many secrets and mysteries

The disadvantages of the project include:

• Simplistic graphics
• Difficulty in completing some levels
• The game is only interesting to play for the first time
