Playstation VR Worlds is a virtual reality game available for download on the PlayStation store. It immerses you in a high-quality virtual reality experience with the help of Playstation’s VR technology. The graphics are great and the experience is something you will most definitely enjoy.
The Five Games
VR Worlds comes with five varying games with a wide range of difficulty, experience level, and play style. These games are London Heist, VR Luge, Scavenger’s Odyssey, Ocean Descent, and Danger Ball, which all have their own unique gameplay and features.
London Heist
London Heist is the most action-packed and challenging game of all. It is a first-person-shooter that let’s you take on the role of a mobster tasked with stealing diamonds. While the gameplay and controls obviously differ from any regular game, it still has the feel of a familiar first-person-shooter that many people will feel comfortable in.
VR Luge
VR Luge puts you on a luge moving fast down a highway into oncoming vehicles. While it is definitely not as skill-oriented as London Heist, it does require the player to lean in order to avoid other vehicles. This game is a perfect mix of challenging VR games and the one’s where you can just sit back and enjoy the view.
Scavenger’s Odyssey
Scavenger’s Odyssey is a thrilling sci-fi adventure with laser beams and aliens. This game allows you to explore the sci-fi landscape and admire the spectacle of blasting aliens with lasers.
Ocean Descent
Ocean Descent is a game where you can relax and enjoy the beautiful VR world, most of the time. While you can sit and admire the beautiful ocean and marine wildlife, there are a few jump scares packed in there, so look out.
Danger Ball
Danger Ball is a sports game but don’t think it’s like Madden or 2K, Danger Ball has the unique feature of not only being VR, but using the character’s head to hit the ball.
Obviously there are a few flaws in how the game runs, but it is still the best virtual reality experience in my opinion. It’s not the most immersive in terms of sound cancellation and quality, but the graphics and the games they chose make for a great virtual reality game. Although, I do wish there were more games, the five they chose fit perfectly and display the wide range of virtual reality games.
This is not a life changing experience that would warrant you to buy a VR set, but if you already have one, this should probably be on your shopping list. In fact, this is probably the best starter game considering it comes with five different games and gives a good introduction to Playstation VR.
