Akatsuki Blitzkamp is a sizzling 2D fighting game released exclusively in Japan. The game features lead character Akatsuki Blitzcampf, a tough character with a strong personality. Not much is known about this character besides the fact that he woke from a deep freeze after 50 years under the ice, and that he’s an Imperial Japanese Office.

This game was originally released as an arcade game, but has also been released for PC. If you loved old school style arcade games like Street Fighter III, this game has a lot of similarities. Like Street Fighter games, the focus is mainly on footwork rather than flashy combos, and it also has a similar parry system.

BlitzTank is one of the harder characters to control, with powerful moves that can knock a character back a full screen, lasers, and mines. BlitzTank works like a standard keepaway-fortress style character, with the goal being to harass opponents from a distance rather than up close work.

You can use any combination of these characters after you have unlocked them, with some interesting results. Gamers who are new to this style of play will likely find Blitzkamp and Fritz the easiest to play at first, Blitzcamp because he is so well rounded and Fritz for his sheer damage dealing ability. Start with these characters and then branch out to more challenging options to see what characters you find the easiest to play.

A game for everyone

Akatsuki Blitzkamp was designed to be simple to use, yet still engaging. While some character combinations are more challenging than others, you can still play your favorite combos and be successful.

The game centers around Blitz Engines, a kind of weapon developed in an alternative universe during World War 2. Blitzkamp sets out with the goal of destroying these engines, as was his goal from 50 years ago. He fights against both old enemies, and modern agents, to try and defeat these engines.
