Gameplay

The action of Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds unfolds in the not too distant future, where the world has been taken over by artificial intelligence. Within this program, its own laws apply:

• Destroyer
• Engineer
• Bandit
• Swordsman
• Witch

Players log in and quickly encounter an AI named Rania. The virtual reality brain creates a combat game space. The team of friends heads to the queen of the Nameless Kingdom, who will give them a mission to take possession of the crystal.

Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds largely meets player expectations - full of bright colors with lots of beautiful landscapes and creatures of all shapes and sizes. Cluu is the main character, and he looks like a bat. The other characters are very quirky. Players complete quests to build their reputation before the king of Evemore (that's the name of the kingdom).

Choosing any quest, main or side quest, will allow the character to automatically run to where he or she needs to go. Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds is a real strategy game. As the character runs to the next quest goal, players can think about their next actions.

The combat itself is dynamic, but ultimately simple in its mechanics. Players have one quick conventional attack available, as well as six skills, each with its own individual cooldown timer. Three weapons can be equipped at the same time and are free to switch between them, although each class uses only one weapon type.

The player is joined in combat by up to three allies who fight on their own. The difficulty in the first levels is very low, you can easily fight your way through waves of enemies (automatically or manually), and even the bosses cause little trouble. One notable thing that will not be done automatically is dodging enemy attacks. Players will have to hit the roll button or run out of the danger zone.
